I aspire to be a theoretical physicist. I wish to specialise in the branches of quantum field theory and general relativity. Apart from this, I am interested in pure mathematics, especially the Riemann hypothesis and the works of Alexander Grothendiek. My aim is to complete post-graduation from the Massachussets Institute Of Technology and begin research in pure science. I am also interested in evolutionary biology. My achievements so far include: I am the current SSLC state topper with 625 marks for which I have been honoured by the governor of Karnataka. I have secured the all India ranking 56 in the national entrance and scholarship test conducted by Bhabha Atomic Research Centre. I am a state level table tennis player. I secured first place in state level Science olympiad. The NIAS fellowship is a blessing as it helps interact with the best science researchers in the country. Reading physical books and getting live mentorship are two completely different things. Interacting directly with scholars, rather than reading books alone excites me. Moreover, experimentation is an integral part of physics which cannot be done at home and NIAS would allow me to do just that.
