Student Profile Detail

My aim in life is to become a Zoologist in order to render service to the wild life which plays a very important role in our ecosystem. Through my research I would like to learn more about the animal’s habitat, feeding and breeding habits of rare endangered species and work hard towards protecting them. Currently I am studying in 1st PUC, PCMB. Parallelly, I am learning more by collecting information from various sources like internet, books and various educational channels. My parents and teachers are constantly supporting me in my endeavour. My achievements so far have been as follows: I won 1st place in the Interschool science exhibition by preparing a model of plant cell, was runners up in the Interschool science quiz organised by Rotary Bangalore north, won the best model award of a thermal power station in interschool exhibition, secured 1st place in a speech competition on environmental issues organised by the Bangalore water supply and sewage board, won a scholarship in International Science Olympiad, won award for light music competition organised by IISc, and received many awards in singing competitions and represented Bangalore north in the state level Pratibha Karanji competition organised in Bellary. The NIAS- Maiya Prodigy Fellowships would help me achieve my aim in life as I will use the mentorship to fulfill my dreams to make my country proud.
